PHOTO + FILM: Emily and Matt's Wedding

On August 12, 2017 our photo+film crew headed down to the Indiana/Michigan state line to capture Emily + Matt's wedding. We started the morning off at "house Knapper", the new home of our soon to be newlyweds. After getting distracted by their adorable Corgi, we got to work capturing the boys getting ready. Matt shared a lovely moment with this Mother, pinning the boutonnière on her son. After groom prep, we took a short drive over to where the girl's were getting ready at Emily's family's beautiful property. What a gorgeous place the Low family has to call home and a great place for us take some beautiful photos + film. The girls already had the dresses hanging beautifully for us and were looking their best! After Emily was ready we took her outside to see her Dad for the first time on her wedding day! A handsome man looked with pride and joy upon the daughter he had raised into the beautiful bride standing before him. The only one more happy to see Emily than her dad, was Matt. What a perfect location for the first look under the aptly named "memory bridge". Fun fact: This is also where Matt first proposed! We let the two have a moment before we started the formal photo session with the bridal party and family members. After some great shots with friends and family we did a few more portrait shots before heading out to the church where the two would be wed. The ceremony was traditional and the pews were packed with the extended family and friends of the bride and groom. After some personally written vows and a kiss, we were off to the reception! The reception was down in South Bend Indiana at a venue we've shot at a few times before "the Brick". Once the bridal party arrived the best men and maid's of honor had some thoughtful and humorous words to share about the bride and groom. Cake, dinner, formal dances you know the drill! Guests were ready to dance by the time the dj said those magic words "the dance floor is now open!" Fun, laughter, drinks and merry making filled the rest of the evening. We capped the day off with a sparkler send off for our bride and groom to create one more image for them to remember this day! August 12, 2017 was made up of 24 hours like any other day.
